Jeju-do is an island off the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. It is often called the “Hawaii of Korea”. A beautiful island with coral reefs that are quite different than I’ve ever seen. Also, I saw for the first time huge jellyfish; the kind you see in the Monterey Bay aquarium. Beautiful, but I made sure to keep my distance.

The statue is a “stone grandfather”, a funny looking cultural artifact that are found around the island.
